Dairy Farm Assistant

Dairy Farm Assistants support milking, feeding, livestock care, cleaning, and general farm operations while maintaining safe and productive working conditions.

Candidates need farming experience, physical fitness, reliability, basic English, and willingness to work outdoors during mornings, weekends, and varied weather.

• Assist with morning and evening milking.
• Feed cattle and manage feed distribution.
• Observe livestock and report health concerns.
• Clean milking equipment and animal areas.
• Assist with calving and general animal care.
• Repair fences and complete basic farm maintenance.
• Operate approved farm machinery safely.

• Follow hygiene, biosecurity and workplace-safety procedures.

• Previous dairy-farm or livestock experience is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends and rostered shifts.
• Basic English communication skills.

• Valid driving licence may be required.
